# Personal notes
Types of [[clouds]] please ?
Ok just checked the wikipedia page for cloud types and there are so many catalogued species, wow.
Major categories, but there are also individual pages for every specific shape you can find.
I should go through them one by one ^473735
Otherwise, my sunset left side looks good, the one that is the most lacking is the cityscape, I should copy from reference.
Also, good job, keep going, next time do a similar thing as the background for a piece, and even if it looks out of place.
I'm eager to improve over the course of multiple pieces. ^d34f50

# Notes on my process
For the city lights, they should feel natural and not just like random dots.
I considered their colors, positions and shapes according to what would be there if it was a real city.
Most of the city lights are tinted from warm white to cold white, because real people buy various kinds of lights that all look different.
Some lights are occasionally a special color, because some people will have an RGB light and occasionally set it to purple for example, to set a mood.
Meanwhile, on the big central tower, nearly all of the lights are a cold blue, as work environments usually buy big stocks of the same product, and usually target colder whites as it fits the professional setting more.
Then, you have probably the most recognizable feature, which would be the car lights.
There's a line of white and red dots lined up at the bottom of the city.
Notably, the red dots aren't across the entirety of the line, as the brake lights would only light up when cars are stopping at a red street signal.
Among the white lights you'll also find some yellow ones, as old cars would have.
You can also see how the lights thin out outside of the city.
Above the cars, at the floor level of the city, you will see a lot more varied colors, as this is where the shops would be, with their branding and eye catching lights.
You can also spot a few bill boards hung up high on the walls of some building.
The stars also have colors that make sense for them, ranging from red, through orange, yellow, white and sky blue. (Aka they go through the Kelvin color temperature range)
Also there's a big trail of sparkles in the middle of the sky, which is where you're facing the center of the milky way.
