You'll commonly see my notes feature the following headers : - **Definition** - Short description of what concept the note refers to. - Helps you get in my headspace for why I chose a particular word to refer to a concept, making sure we're on the same page before you start reading the page. - **Redirects** - Points to related concepts. - *e.g. the "120fps" note would redirect you to the "Frame rate" note.* - **Components** - Points to sub concepts. - *e.g. the "Display" note would feature "Resolution", "Frame rate", "Bit-depth", etc. as components.* - **Evolution** - List of experiences I've had related to said concept, that helped me form a clearer view of it. - Oftentimes these notes will remain private. They would contain rather unfiltered mentalese either way, appearing as gibberish to anyone but me. However their title should be descriptive enough to get an idea of the timeline of thoughts that lead to my conclusions. - Sometimes I will make a few of them public for the sake of letting people experience the inner workings of my brain out of curiosity. Additional considerations : - I didn't always have this neat system for organisation. This creates multiple situations : - Firstly, some old notes may contain stray text, not sorted within any header. Usually however, I will only publish notes that have been cleaned up a bit, and where I've at least put some of these headers at the front of the note, and left the stray text at the back for additional reading. - Do consider where the last header ends and where the stray text begins. You will get an intuitive feel for which is which. - You may see empty headers, with nothing in them. This is normal. When creating a note, I like to lay the foundations as a habit, to prevent stray text from being a thing anymore. This doesn't mean that anything is missing. There might never be anything to put there. Do not worry. - Sometimes, you will see other past headers of mine, such at "Tours", "Piles", "Concepts", etc.. Do not pay them much mind to them, as with the stray text, I am constantly cleaning up and moving to this newer system of mine. Now, let's apply everything that we've learned : See : [[(Example note) Frog origami]]
